This kit would give a user a specific amount of lottery tickets per day or on a scheduled cooldown. I believe the amount of tickets should start at 10, and grow from there (20,40,60) based on the feature level (+, ++, +++) ect. I also recommend that the features maintains a relatively low price within the shop (between $10-$20 USD or higher with opportunity to be apart of ongoing sales).Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I believe this is a good addition to ECC because it has potential to get more people active with the lottery system. It also create a new feature for players to purchase that is relatively inexpensive. Furthermore, I believe it will create friendly competition between those who have the feature if /kit lottery is used by multiple users at once.Other information: Plugin or custom addition: I am unsure of plugins or custom additions that would go along with this feature. However, I know one of the payouts in the Starcasino are lottery tickets and if /kit lottery could be incorporated into that type of system either through /cc in game, or be given a physical appearance, I believe it would be a big hit.One suggestion per form: I Understand.
-1 This would be a licence to print free money, not to mention there’s no need for it. Imagine if you did this kit during off peak and you had 100 tickets, that’d be a load of profit every hour/day - you’d be injected a heck of a lot of money into the economy for not a lot of USD.
May I make an amendment: Just like in the starcasino, the tickets would be bought instantly with the use of /kit lottery so they could not be stacked and multiple could not be used all at once. As for the points raised: I understand the concern for "printing free money". That concern could be alleviated by reducing the amount of tickets the feature would give a user. Another way to address that issue would be to raise the cost of the feature; although it would discredit part of my initial suggestion, it is still a viable option to combat the money printing issue. However it may be, I thought it was a decent idea that could potentially be ironed out to where it could be experimented with or implemented into the server. Thank You For Your Time, KG4Life223
The chances of winning lotto tickets in the star casino are pretty low, plus if I remember right it’s only 25. You’d probably need to spend a fair few nether stars to get this prize. I think buying lotto tickets with USD is a massive step further into the realms of P2W.
The starcasino has lottery ticket payouts of 50,100 and 150. I don't believe that a feature that allows for a small amount of lottery tickets that will be diluted in with money already in the server will put the server deep into pay-to-win. If one user was able to use 20 lottery tickets from this feature during off-peak hours and was able to win those 20 tickets back every time, after taxes it would be roughly $6 million ECD per year. If there was competition within the lottery, with other players buying tickets with ECD already in the game, then I believe the taxes on those tickets would be able to greatly offset the money being added. Although there may be a slight boost to the economy, I don't think adding this feature would affect the pay-to-win realm as much as you may think.
KG4, you know that since lotto tax is by definition 15%, that every ticket spawned in would add 850$ to the economy?
You’d be spawning in $850 per ticket - I’m aware you can buy ECD however there’s hardly any purchases of it. I’m still not convinced that this is needed or good for the server.
