In Game Name: furiuosgeorgeWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: /help magicWhat are you suggesting: Add a brief description of magic and magic days and a link to the relevant wiki pages. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: it would help explain the basics of magic to people who are hearing about it and want to learn more.Other information: as always. I rock.Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
We currently have /HelpMeECCTools or /help ecctools which both link to this page. They also both mention checking when magic is enabled by using /magicday. What exactly are suggesting getting added to this section? Or are you suggesting adding an alias to those sections and calling it magic instead? I will get in touch with @ClarinetPhoenix to apply any changes if we agree they are necessary.
+1, I found magic very confusing when I came back. I think a /help magic command should be added with the magic info from /help ecctools. It should also include information about magic tool levels.
The command we have at the moment is /help tools - which will give you this link https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/wiki/ecocitycraft-star-and-magic-tools/ Here contains all the information about magic tools and Tool levels , there will always be questions on this subject and as staff its our duty to answer those questions and ensure that people understand anything they're uncertain of. We encourage players asking questions - and we are more then happy to answer those questions even if we have to share the same answer 100 times The most common question is "what is magic day / hour?" - and the answer to that is : "magic day and magic hour is the only time you can use magic tools , with the exception of the magic armour without the sell bonus , magic elytras , magic shovels and magic shears" I feel this is the "brief description" you are looking for but I am not sure what else could fall into that brief description , the link provided sums up what each individual magic tools does. Perhaps I am mistaking your post - but you are just looking for a command that just explains what magic hour is / what it is for?
I've seen several users just asking why /help magic doesn't work. mostly names I don't remember from before the reset. It's a natural help topic to try. even a reference to the links above and instructions to ask staff with any questions would be a good move. All people are different and some will be hesitant to jump into chat and start asking questions. Encouraging them to do so in the help reference could make all the difference.
