What are you suggesting:

I am suggesting putting fortune 4 on ecc pickaxe ⛏​

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

This will make mining more profitable as it’s current earnings are pretty negligible. The only way to really make money with a pick axe is with a magic pick axe, and a lot of users don’t have access to this 20mil+ tool.

Minecraft is supposed to be about mining and crafting and the mining aspect of ecc seems incredibly neglected when it comes to the economy aspect.

Essentially people end up fishing or farming melons because for some reason those things make more money than mining.​

Other information:

All other ecc tools have an upgrade from previous god/star tools

Star sword goes from loot 4 to eccpvp sword loot 10
Melon sword eff 5 to eccmsword eff7
God crossbow piercing 5 to eccxbow piercing 10 and so on

the ecc pick is an eff 7 mixed with a max tool which is pretty underwhelming.

Let’s have an actual increase in the tools power with the ecc pick axe.
Let’s get people back to the mines!​

Because these picks sell for 2-5 mil each
Making it more accessible than 20mil+

 

Also the idea that mining is profitable because of prestige shops is ludicrous. At best mining makes 80k an hour which is laughable. And that’s with a 20mil dollar magic pick.

let’s be ridiculously generous with an hourly estimate of 120k an hour, this still puts it at the bottom of the list when compared to other ecc tools for a job that essentially defines Minecraft. Mining. It should be relevant to the economy and right now it simply is not.
