Different Sized Town Portals​

What are you suggesting:

Have varying sized portals capable of being placed into a town.
From what i understand, the portal is created though using a sign placed by GA+.
The portal border itself is placed by the player.

This is basically the same effort from the staff team for any sized portals.

I've asked GA+ if this is due to lag and from what we understand, there is no extra lag caused by having varying sized portals.


So, assuming there is no extra lag and no extra effort on the staff side for any custom sized portal, I am suggesting players have the ability to apply for varying sized portals.

I've noticed there is a price difference for the portals as well (I don't understand why but i'll just accept it; if we can remove it, then it would be awesome cause it makes no sense).

To keep with the price difference going, lets say that every width-bock increased will need the player to pay 10k extra.

So the default size is 4W-5H.
If the player is going for a 5W-5H its 10k more, but they can go for a 5W-7H portal and it will cost the same as the 5w5h since the width has not increased.

Of course, establishing size limits would be necessary, something like 9 OR 11 blocks in either direction (W or H) would be a good max size. (keep it odd-length plz no one builds in even's).​

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

Actually makes portals look nice and blend in nicely with the backdrop of towns.

This is also no extra effort for the staff team and from what I understand with talking to current SA, there is no extra lag created.​

This is already possible in game, as of writing this, admin team can already make varying sized portals at will.​
