In Game Name: TankNoodleWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Custom TagsWhat are you suggesting: I am suggesting that we bring back custom tags in some way shape or form. Either preset tags that can be purchased for maybe a price of 2$ each or a whole feature that allows you to make your own custom tags. We used to have ctags enabled so why not enable them again. If you do decide to make it a feature it would also be one many people would buy because it gives you another option for personalization. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: It gives ECC players another option for personalization. Would be an amazing addition alongside nick+. The money made from this could pay for development.Other information: N/APlugin or custom addition: An example could be this plugin: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/...ultimate-chat-tags-plugin-⭐-1-8-1-16-⭐.79698/One suggestion per form: I Understand.
+1 People love customization and everyone I’ve talked to has expressed love for custom tags, in my opinion it would be a great addition to add these back, which could make the server money while also making the player base happy.
I want Ctags, but realistically, Andrew said they aren't coming back. Not sure if he meant because of outdated code or because he personally doesn't want them, or both
+1 definitely bc i would deffo buy even if it was a separate feat from nick or nick plus. But it would be nice to add it to nick plus.
I swear I've seen this suggestion like 10 times lmao he can't do it bc it would require a complete permissions rework or something idk Pessimistic +1 tho
+1 While I doubt I'd utilize this particular feature myself, I do understand the value of customization to players. I wouldn't mind seeing it come back, but I seem to recall it causing issues with other tags. Here's to hopin' though.
CustomTags will not be making a return to ECC at this time. It's not a simple drop in plugin and go kind of addition, it's a full blown custom coded addition due to the vastly customized chat system we run. Simply put, not down to invest development hours into this.
