There is the placing then breaking ice method, but you also need to place a block under that to get the water. This boosted item, if possible given the bucket is currently white or black listed (idr which one), will make placing water quickerOther information: Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
Water bucket is on the list of blacklisted items, so I’m not sure this would be possible. Making it easier to place water would kind of take away from the purpose of /fill, which is a supporter feature — one that I personally bought for /fill. I’d rather encourage that over boosting a bucket. You may find it convenient to do /pt fill water on an empty water bucket and hold both left and right click for a similar effect. (Or spam right and left click.)
