In Game Name: LobstreWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Allow defining polygonal plotsWhat are you suggesting: I am suggesting that the ability of players with Towncontrol+ to define plots be expanded to include defining polygonal plots. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I've often wanted to define plots in my towns with non-cuboid shapes, mostly for aesthetic reasons but also to set flags for very specifc areas. I feel like this is a change that would allow more creative use of the perks that Towncontrol affords players with that feat, and help people to build more natural and more beautiful towns.Other information: While I don't presume to know exactly how ECC's plot system works, it's obviously a wapper around /rg define, /rg setparent and /rg delete. Worldguard supports defining regions that are either cuboid or polygons with heights. If a player wanted to define a polygonal region with worldguard, it is quite simple: 1. //sel poly (put worldedit in polygon selection mode) 2. //wand 3. Click blocks to indicate points of a polygon 4. //expand <n> <up|down> (to give the polygon a height if desired) 5. /rg define <region name> Currently, if you try to select a polygonal region and issue /setplot, you're just told that the region needs to be a cuboid. Perhaps this could be a new tier of Towncontrol, integrated into Towncontrol+3 or just available to everyone with Towncontrol+.Plugin or custom addition: Worldguard (with ECC's plot commands)One suggestion per form: I Understand.
Thank you for your suggestion. At this time we cannot add this to our development list. Feel free to re-suggest in a few months time and we will revisit.
