In Game Name: JdawgerWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Additional kit for SmithmasterWhat are you suggesting: Adding a kit to one of the SmithMaster features (Preferably + or ++, but base works too) that gives a free netherite upgrade template every X amount of hours/days (at least 24hrs)Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Let's be honest, SmithMaster is one of those features that is either overlooked or is not worth it for how little one needs it (esp for the price it is in the shop). For a lot of people, they just need to upgrade a few tools/armor max or put 4 trims on their armor. Once that is done, they aren't going to use that feature anymore. And for the little times they would need it, they'd get someone else to do it for them (and a significant amount of people do it for free since they aren't going to be using it for at least 6hrs). For that reason, I suggest adding a netherite upgrade template as a kit for one of the feature packages. The thing about these upgrade templates is they aren't really that rare since people have mass-copied them. A kit like this will add some worth to the feature tree. Not much, but it's something. And it is preferred to be in + or ++ since a lot of people seem to just get the base feature since the other ones are not worth it to them since they would rather wait the 6hrs per server.Other information: I'm thinking it could be one of the following: /kit upgrade /kit template (if we don’t do the next paragraph too) Also, we could also add a /kit templates to ++ which has every single smithing template in it with a 48hr cooldown if we want to add some more value. Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
I am pretty sure we don't need a kit templates since it is easy to make a copy of them. It also makes people use their diamonds. As for other templates I think if you want them go and find them yourself or make a copy of them from people who have one already or buy them from people.
Kit templates are easy enough to purchase of make a copy of. They are valued at around $1,000 ECD making them fairly easy to purchase. I don't use SmithMaster for myself as such but more to provide a service to others which 90% of the time I provide the templates because they're that easy to stock on. I just feel this would be a fair waste of time adding more kits to the feature.
You kind of just made my point of why we should have this with this statement. Yes, they are relatively cheap and easy to make, but like other kits tied to features, it’s about convenience. Oak signs are cheap and easy to make/buy, but we still have a kit for that for our lift signs.
