Something similar to this plugin: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/editablesign.2502/Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: It'd be something that would make running shops a lot easier, especially whenever there are price changes.Other information: nonePlugin or custom addition: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/editablesign.2502/One suggestion per form: I Understand.
It doesn't look like that plugin has a means to prevent you from editing other people's shops (while still being able to edit your own) besides worldguard, which would be pretty key.
While I would love to see this, I remember a similar suggestion being denied long ago for this reason.
+1, but this wouldn't require a new plugin. Craftbook already has a sign copy/paste and edit mechanic which is disabled at the moment on ECC. Using this, a player could copy a sign's text, use a command to edit it and then paste it back onto the same sign or a different one.
There is a sign editing plugin i had a while back that only the owner could edit signs they make so wouldnt effect shops il see if i can find it.
If we could do something like this, where you can only your own signs, yes please! It’d make life so much easier.
pros: it would be useful and easy to edit signs cons: do we really need this? I mean, it only takes like a few seconds to break that sign and re-write what was on there right?
For detailed signs it would be since you can't paste into signs at the moment. If this can be done respecting shop ownership...+1
The plugin linked is old, out of date, deserted, and riddled with bugs. Any sign editing mechanic plugin is going to be begging for issues both code wise, and server wise.
