    What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    All Main Servers​
    Short title for your suggestion:
    A new staff name​
    What are you suggesting:
    a new staff rank that is called Land Moderator. It collects the tax of your plot/land you bought or got monthly.​
    Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
    It will bring more realisticness to the server and bring more life and work​

    Hello,

    So I think, and I could be wrong, you're referring to the fact that some servers have a built in system for taxing towns. Everyone in town has to pay taxes, or the town falls into 'disrepair' and poofs. That is part of Towny (The plugin) we don't use towny. We use a highly customized version of world guard. This is what allows us to have TownControl++ and flag plots specific ways and do all sort of ingenious things.

    Even if we did somehow, for some reason, implement a taxation system, it would be unrealistic to decide any staff should have to manually handle the taxes. Among other reasons, they could steal the money but also it would simply make more sense to automate it.

    That being said, does anyone really want to live in a universe where the server taxes the very existence of your town? We already had to pay for it. We already pay lotto taxes. Lets not add server town taxes onto that.
