Minecraft Name:Grantcfo Suggestion: So I've been playing on the server for about 2 hours now and I see someone floating in the air. I know that they have been there since they logged on so I did the /seen Command. I notice that they have been up there for about 2 hours and they haven't been kicked for being AFK for that long. * * * I got bored on the server and started to play on one of my other favorite servers and do some parkour. I see a message that says something like this Player Console kicked <User's IGN> for You have been kicked for idling for more than 10 minutes. I think to myself "I have seen a lot of AFK'ers on Ecocitycraft, maybe we should add this!" So that is when I decided to make a suggestion on/for this. Also I have just read the comments that you guys posted so how about instead of 10 minutes, we make it 20, but to me that is too long so what about 15? I saw this message WHILE I WAS DOING PARKOUR (sent to: chargers2417). I don't just see it in the parkour world. Adding a Parkour World would also make ECC A bit more enjoyable, so that makes 2 in 1. Anyway I am REALLY getting off topic. Reason: I don't like having a bunch of people that are AFK for an hour or so without their PC shutting off. Any Other Information: I have made my choice of how long I think it should be. I think that it should be either 15 or 20 minutes. -1, There are people who AFK to grow their farms and get exp from spawners. The reason people are kicked on a parkour map is because there is no need to AFK, unless getting something to eat, etc.
As a person that owns a 200x200 wheat farm , I do not like this idea. It is my main source of money, and if this was implimented, i would lose my main source of income. -1
There are too many reasons to afk. I go afk while doing homework half paying attention in case someone pms me. Afk rails or just afking for a farm. Sitting at spawners. I am also not sure but talking in chat may not register as not being afk which could annoy many people. I would hate to be kicked whilst doing many of the things listed and kicking people doesn't really gain that much. Lag is caused more by people doing something rather than just standing still.
Here, How about we make it 20 minutes. Also I never said anything about it just being in parkour. Also, I was lazy and that took over and made my grammar and stuff look bad/weird. I'm already getting lazy typing this, so.... yeah.
I'd go with a 45 minute afk kicker. I once saw a guy, sit in the same spot for 2 hours, when i came back on later (about 3-4 hours) he was still there... People don't usually afk (will, at least i don't) for more then 45 minutes. Sitting doing your homework: Have someone mail you... Afk at spawner/farm: Is it too much to ask to check your computer every 45 minutes? I notice/see a lot of people doing nothing, sitting afk. I'm not a donator, and i don't see why i have to wait for an open slot because some guy is sitting afk. On a fairly same topic, the server has 400 slots, have you ever seen that many people on at one time? This might have been useful at 200 slot, but not at 400 slot. Yeah, this kinda makes what i said above useless
i would be about 20 min due to fact that butcher kills mobs ever 15 and talking in chat does prevent u from going afk i have a 200x200 farm my self.. and due to fact im working nearby the plants are grown from just when im playing... i dont need to specifically go afk to get them to grow
