In my opinion, aether is not special. It's the same as main world besides the fact the its no-grief and you fall to your death A LOT. Even if you have fly and don't fall to your death, if you build something in your town it is also grief protected. As far as i know, it's only a waste 0f 20k, and a constant death world. I'm NOT saying that its bad, or that it should be removed, or anything like that, im just looking for any pluses to the aether that i might have missed.

Think about it this way, would I rather spend 1,220,000 EcoDollars to buy four towns to protect a 400x400 area for me to build such a massive structure? Or would I rather spend 20k to find an unused part of a protected world to begin building something phenomenal? That's the whole point of the aether, to build great creations and show it off to others on the server. Making money and any other economic based feature is more focused in the main world and is left out of the aether, hence the limit on farms and mob spawning. This is truly what I envision Minecraft to be when I play. I despise pvp and wouldn't care much if it were to be taken out of the game entirely. This world is meant to show off the more creative side of Minecraft, nothing more.
Videowiz, i really appreciate you telling me why the aether is great. I would like to say again i have NOTHING against the aether, costs or at any way how it is set up. Thank you for letting me see the bright side of the aether!
I'm perfectly content with the Aether, and believe that it was entirely worth the 20k. To get to build awesome buildings without grief.... Well, it's just awesome Videowiz said it best.
It is very rare that something gets griefed in the aether and even the smallest of grief calls for a ban.
In my opinion, the Aether is amazing. I would never build anything or make a vault there, but I love flying around and seeing all of the amazing structures users have created while in there. And plus, since I have fly, I use the Aether as my mining world. I fly out far and go under the islands, finding tons and tons of ores. Silk touch ftw!
