Minecraft Name: crossfire26 Suggestion: To add new features o the Pilot and Captain Ranks. For Pilots+, they will be able to place water ONLY in the aether. For Captains, they will be able to fly ONLY in the Aether. Reason: Allowing people to place water and fly in the aether would add to the vast assortment of fantastic structures. I think that donator features should NOT be added to aether ranks, if you want it just donate for it. I do agree that captain needs some features.
No Aether is one of the main reasons some people bought fly. Andrekm wont add any donation perks to captain rank
But there are two sides to this coin. If people get a taste of what fly offers and get accustom to using it in the aether, they will be more likely to buy the full donation for the main would. Also making the Captin rank more desirable with a fly feature, Andrew would have to make the price increase. Pulling more money out of the economy, which is alway a goal for Andrew. Just a thought.
I thought it would be cool to make the aether creative mode, obbviously it needs to have seperate inentory but there is a plugin for that. Also commands like /sell would need to be disallowed. I just thought that since its a building world, allowthem to build for free. However, I think I have already asked andrew about this and said no. I dont know what the reason was but it must be a good one.
Andrew has said before that donation features will never be added to the server in any EcoDollar-form. Meaning... Aether ranks will probably never have things like fly and water. :/ I agree that Pilot and Captain need perks, but the only good perks are donation features... lol
I definatly think that aether ranks need more perks. Maybe not creative mode but really cheap blocks or a kit or something because right now, unless you have fly, the aether has more cons than pros.
Maybe andew can make a /kit aether, that gives you a stack of dirt for scafolds/temp bridges, and a stone shovel. Neither of tye items have much value for the economy, but have a legit use in the aether.
Well, here is how i thought of it. People who dont have lava (to my knowledge) have the ability to place lava in the nether only. So, why not water and fly in the aether? Fly would be good because of the floating islands. You arent supposed to worry about dying in a free build, no grief landscape.
