Aether Death, Dont Worry!

What if this became a perk for captains? Andrekm could just make it a world you canot suffer damage in. This would allow us to do /home when we fell in the void

This would of been great when I lost a diamond silk touch/eff IV pick do to falling into the void.

 

I see two problems with this (yes, i'll be the bad guy)

1. That kinda takes away from the whole idea of having islands in the SKY. If death was disabled, why not just add a custom world or region where damage is disabled? I like the idea of knowing i'm on islands in the sky and if I fall off... I risk a painful death!

2. If death is disabled, that is one less reason to encourage some users to donate for the fly/speed feature. I'm not saying this is the biggest reason people donate for fly, but it def crossed my mind when I got mine... I couldn't wait to use fly in the aether.

 

Yeah one time i lost alot of stuff in aether i dont agree with death disabled maybe just tuned down a little so u can type /home oe /spawn so u can survive with ur stuff safe and happy!

 

how about the time of death takes longer/is delayed giving you plenty of time to do /home or /spawn? It can still kill you eventually just not as fast. I just took out all of glocks' problems.

I'm planning on buying Aether very soon, but I don't want to fall and die. The Aether is a peaceful place, where you can build magnificent structures. If you are building huge nice things, you will most likely have valuables in your inventory, and if you fall, you loose it all.

If it isn't available to everyone, it should be a thing captains get. Then, there would be a good reason to rank up!

 

I'd love to see this as a benefit for Captains, but not for all Pilots. There needs to be a reason to spend $25,000 on Captain.
