Denied Add /tpa for everyone who plays 24-48 hours?

I guess I'll comment here just to let you guys know what the Trusted rank really was.

Trusted was a rank on the AEM Survival Server that could be achieved by playing on the server for a total of 24 hours. Prior to this, you were the rank <Default> (equivalent to our wonderful Builder rank)

Prior to earning the Trusted rank, users did not have access to making Chest Shops (the equivalent of ECC's trade signs) as well as the use of /tpa or /tpahere, as well as some other niche perks.

Think of Trusted in the rank ladder of AEM as the equivalent of Resident or Mayor here on ECC. There are a notable number of trustworthy users who are Resident or Mayor, they just haven't chosen to rank up. Apply these same principles to Trusted.

Anyways, this is irrelevant, as the suggestion relates to /tpa and /tpahere. Personally, if making teleport free (even with some kind of cooldown) encourages users to stay, I'm all for this idea.

Ok so if it takes 24 hours to get this trusted rank then just save up ECD for 24 hours and buy the teleport feature from another user, giving you the [$] (trusted-ish) tag and the ability to tp.

 

If it were just a little tag saying "trusted" id be fine with that no need for extra lil features. maybe allow them to have more lwc's or something

 

But like imagine the scams. Someone plays to be <Trusted> and boom scams for players who don’t know the way trusted ranks work.

Minor correction: /tp is a vanilla command as well, although it works very differently (as it allows you to essentially force-tp to other players, telpeort player A to B with confirmation and teleport (yourself and other players) to XYZ coordinates, which makes it completely unusable for non-admin players in general). But yes, strictly speaking teleport actually is a part of vanilla.

That's exactly the problem, though - new players want to play with their friends, so why should they stay on a server that makes it difficult for them to play together?

When I was a Builder in December 2013, the friend I wanted to play with had to travel 12800 blocks to meet me at my builder base in the wild. Needless to say, he didn't stay on ECC for long.

A trusted rank will not work properly with our current rank system on ECC.
I'm open to reading a suggestion about teleportation being free (with a heavy cooldown) for all users however if such a suggestion exists, and seeing the general thoughts on it.
