Minecraft Name: Berserk_on_XBL Suggestion: Allow for temp ban requests to be a minimum of 3 days and have no maximum length. Allow for Indefinite bans. Reason: I need to get my priorities straight and I dont want to play on the server until its all sorted out, but I cannot request a ban that isn't a 3 Day temp ban, and I dont want to have to do that every 3 days and waste staffs time and also mine. I would rather be able to request an indefinite ban rather than getting myself banned for the sake of getting the server out of my life. Other Information: Indefinate bans would work as a temp ban but the user would file a ban appeal to become unbanned, minimum ban time would be 1 week in this situation.
If you don't want to play then don't play, delete minecraft to prevent the temptation of hopping on real quick. Have some self control and simply do what is best for you. If that indeed is not playing for a month, then don't play for a month.
It is a person's own responsibility, not the server's. I believe it was said once before that the server/Andrew is already being kind by providing bans in the first place. Although a longer ban time would be nice, I don't think there should be an indefinite option. Appealing - even after a minimum time - is easy, and it would take the same amount of self restraint to not appeal as it would to not get online. -0.5/+0.5
-1 this would be a good prevention to players being hacked and doing bad things in the server while away I don't think this is needed. If you feel this deeply about taking time off to get your life together that's great I'm glad you have the maturity and sense of priority to do this. However I strongly disagree with your last comment about getting banned on purpose. Why would you take your anger out on someone who hasn't done anything to u? Just don't play and don't hurt other players simple.
Not necessarily. A person's ban reason could be changed if they were to be caught hacking or any other crime that results in a indefinite ban.
Hacking still affects others and takes money away from the economy. This thread creator makes it seem like he likes the server so much he can't stop coming on. But threatening to break the rules to get banned just shows this is for selfish reasons. Sorry but this is a bleh reason to act this way. (Sorry don't mean to start a flame war I'll stop commenting)
There is no need for this. If self restraint isn't an option, delete your minecraft. If that isn't an option then you should probably get your priorities straightened out. This is not directly at you berserk, so try not to take it personally.
