Minecraft Name: Mochocrap Suggestion: Add the amazing CTF mini game to Ecc Reason: I think I speak for everyone when I say ECC needs something new to do, practically everyone has memorized the chest layout for sg and after almost a year I personally have found SG quite repetitive, but thats just me. I think that CTF would aid the server greatly, and it might attract more players (maybe). Other Information: The winning prize for CTF would need to be thought of for it's a team effort of course but kits could be the exact same as SG? As I don't see why not. It's a mini game that require skill, face to face combat and can also be a snipe war, playing as a team to get the other teams flag. Votes to start the game could be the same as SG as well, and CTF arenas wouldn't be a problem to create at all. I'm looking forward to seeing what the server has to say about this. What I would like to see is events like this ran by andrew / Revan. Almost like a minerun sort of deal. I don't want plugin ran mini games, but I would love to see events that are bring your own gear, it would give much more of a use for prot 4 and pvp weaponry, which is down the drain currently. It would also bring more teams together. At least those are my opinions and ideas.
-1 I support skywars because it can incorporate a money payment system for a single person. If your thinking about giving money reward (because this is an economy sever) there will be problems. For example. 1. Paying just the person who captures the flag = players will rush the flag and instead of team work it will be mad rush army vs army 2. Paying the team = it would lead to players who will just not do anything because if the "team" wins the players will get money even if afk
Paying the person(s) who capture the flag could work or pay the 12/24 people that won $600-1.4k each rather than 2.4k
Paying one person would result in no team work and a mad rush to the other flag that's not the point of CTF because it will basically just be a pvp with one goal and that's to get back. II don't see players wworking as a team of they won't be rewarded for their hard work. paying the team would just invite people to sit in and get free money without having to do anything. You can literally go afk in a good team and get free money.
What if both teams have most of their players go afk? And when it is supposed to be a 10v10 it turns into a 1v1 or something. While 18 players are afk and doing nothing and hoping their team member that is not afk will win.
What if all of sg hides and waits till the end? There will obviously be some sort of "flaw" to any mini game, skywars you canbarricade yourself on the island sg you hide till the end CTF go afk
If you start a sentence with "What if..." You will get a lot of scenarios, most of them very unrealistic, like the one you wrote: "18 out of 20 players go AFK". This is not a very realistic problem, and is at least not the CTF game's fault. I would love to see this happen, it would be fun to have something new added to ECC! +1
I would love if we could have CTF or other types of mini-games. SG can be cool and fun, but variety can allow for all sorts of things that can take up people's time and add to the flexibility of ECC.
As long as it's ran by andrew / Revan or possible the Game Admins and you use your own gear and weapons, I think any mini game would be cool. It'll encourage prot 4 purchases, which as everyone knows is 150% dead.
I like this idea, brings a new Mini-game to ECC, but about the kits... I think you should be able to donate for kits such as archer but you can also buy them with in-game money. That way everyone has a chance to obtain a kit.
I like the idea but I think paying all those people would be hard and more money would be given out so cost of eco-dollar would go down so prices on everything else would go up. -1
I like that archer idea, like seperate kits for CTF to but individual items like a enchanted sword or a bow/arrow... But i also like ohmrs's idea of bringing in your own amour.
That is not exactly correct. You can't play sg and CTF at the same time, so you don't make more money. You either get money from CTF or SG. So the prices won't necessary go up.
