I wasn't sure where to post this, and since it isn't really an appeal, I thought i'd put it here. I was just banned for an inappropriate username, which I expected after reading the server rules. But what I am wondering is when minecraft implements the username change feature, would I be able to change my name and then be able to appeal the ban? If so, would I be able to keep my stuff?
No, what happens is, you have 2 options here. 1. Buy a new Minecraft account if you are really that desperate to play on ECC, because I'm pretty sure Mods do not unban for Innapropriate Usernames. 2. Find another server. Andrewkm, the server owner, does not want people to change their usernames, because they will be locked out of ECC. Good luck Josama.
When you make a new account (I believe), the server owner, andrewkm, gives you a $25 gift card because of the $25 you just spent on a new Minecraft account. Don't quote me on this
ECC will be blocking the username change feature, meaning it's not an option if your name is deemed unacceptable. As MBK said, the only way you'll be able to play on ECC is purchasing a new Minecraft account. If you're not willing to pay $20 to play on ECC, you'll have to look for another server, sorry.
I think the special occasions are when someone has gone a long time without being banned and achieved a high rank.
What exactly is the problem with the name? I see the problem, but, it could be worse. I've reported someone with a name twice as bad as this and the complaint was dismissed.
The validity of the ban is not up for discussion. The staff have determined the name to be inappropriate. At this time you will not be allowed to return to the server under that account.
