Minecraft Name: Fantasyheals Suggestion: A way, much like what was just done with in game tags, to be able to toggle on and off water breathing for users who have the water donation features Reason: For fairness in a underwater pvp event that I am currently working with a group of friends to bring to the server. We are aware we cannot force players to turn this off but this is for those donors that DO want to play fairly. It will give them a way to be able to participate in the event without feeling as though they have an advantage. Any Other Information: Pvp is fun. We want to put a twist on normal pvp by bringing another factor to the table. I do not want to go into to much more detail as I do want the majority of our idea to remain a surprise until we reveal it publicly, however I have already spoken to Khobbits and he told me that this request was big enough to warrant a thread. +1 sounds like an interesting idea and to respond to confederateboys: 1. it gets more action in a dead PvP 2. it increases donations as people want to be able to breathe under water normally
i dont understand what you mean by number 2... If people wanted to breathe underwater normally they wouldnt donate in the first place.
im for it.. also possiably a way so when you enter the pvp area its toggled automatically or something like that to keep everything fair.. right now its almost impossiable to have a fair pvp environment in main world cause donators have such a large advantage
People may want the option to toggle this ability on and off. I for one can't participate in any games that may have lava as a threat due to my pyro+. If I had the ability to toggle that off, I could feel free to die in lava as much as I want.
yeah though we aren't planning on having lava at our pvp arena i am sure that if they do it for the water feature they would be up for doing it for the fire features to for those who use lava in say a parkour place or something.
-1 Andrew made it so that it isn't able to be toggled for a reason. If he wanted to give the ability to turn it off and on, he would have.
That argument holds little basis, seeing as making it toggleable never even came to mind when making this.
The main reason I donated for these was to make sure I never have to worry about dying from drowning or lava. I don't really want to even risk it being set to off with the amount of tools I carry around
so long as you dont toggle it off you will never have to worry about it stolio. that is the point of having the ability to toggle it. those that do not want it to be off can just never toggle it but it would make it possible for those that DO want to turn it off to do so.
