Minecraft Username: IshanDJB Brief Description: You are able to place magic mobs in towns or regions where you are not added. Instructions: 1. Obtain a Magic Mob egg (I used an axolotl). 2. Right click in an area where you don't have permission to. (I used fort_riggs which I have no perms to). How many times did you recreate this?: Once because I didn't want to waste any other magic mob eggs . Doesn't work with regular spawn eggs though. Result: The Magic Mob was able to be placed in a region I should not be able to place anything. Expected Result: I would not be able to place the mob in an area where I don't have perms. Evidence: No evidence, but should be recreateable.
Can re-create, but only when placing mobs in water - works with all spawnable mobs, plain and magicmob. Does not work on solid blocks like grass_block/quartz_block etc - you cannot spawn mobs on these without perms, as should be. So the issue is water lets you place mobs in a region you don't have perms in. Tested in Riggs, Spawn and surrounding spawntowns with water features.
This is back to broken. Our work around unfortunately caused other issues: https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/.221846/ https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/.221845/ We will instead have to wait on a proper fix from WorldGuard.
