Minecraft Name: @CrazySwagMaster1 Suggestion: What I suggest is NOT changing any kits. Nothing. Period. They bought something, and I fear it would be an ecocity-civil war if we were to. The way we would fix the issue is by scaling the rewards for non-kitters by granting them the same or similar rewards as a no-kit match, as well as an an extra sum of cash if they can win a match by no-kitting against kitters. EXAMPLE: No kit match: All rewards unchanged from this suggestion. Kit matches: Let's say I use buffer and my buddy, let's say Julia, does not kit. I kill her to win sg. I would then get the same rewards I always have because I kitted. Now let's say Julia has buffer and miq but does not use either. She then kills me, a kitter. She would then get the rewards of a no-kit match as she no-kitted in a kit match. Reason: I believe that granting higher rewards to non kitters in kit matches will create: a) A new sort of strategy ie 'can I take this player without kits or play it safe and use buffer'. b) Less of a debate, if not extinguish the fire all together between the two sides of this war. c) Give builders a bit more money to help keep them here by getting resident faster. Any Other Information: The arguments from the side of kitters include the following: 1) Not to change their kits as they paid for them and don't want it to change. 2) Refunding would be a nightmare. 3) It is possible to win against a kitter. The arguments from the side of non-kitters include the following: 1) To even out the field to make it more fair on builders who rage and to help staff by doing so. 2) Add higher rate of no-kit matches. 3) It is hard to win against a kitter. This suggestion will fix all 6 of the mentioned arguments. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: I don't know the link to our survival plugin but I know how to tag our wonderful @JamieSinn
For once, I actually agree with you. I would be much happier with this. I still do not like kits, but this would make non-kitters much happier without hurting the kitters.
So, what you're saying is to check if a player has kits when checking the victor of a match? And if they don't, give them extra $$?
I see this as one causing problems with bugs. And 2 the no kitters will be happy for the next week then will start complaining more.
He said the "victor of the match". The "victor of the match" would be whoever wins the SG, as opposed to getting a kill on someone.
This really won't solve anything as it is still "impossible" according to some no kitters to kill ppl with kits. But why not extra money .
They're obviously exaggerating. It is very possible to kill a kitter, mostly because you're either: A. Lucky. B. Good at PvP. C. Your opponent sucks. Mostly C, though.
Exactly it, though I would suggest doing it per kill as well. Coding for the logic statement would be very similar I'd imagine. Both, preferably. Though one or the other would suffice if only possible. Bugs can and will be fixed. This is a rather straightforward thing and only requires a logic statement before a player is given a reward. Very hard to bug an if(). This^ Though I'd say mostly b
