Hi Guys and Gals of ECC, another quick question for you guys, if you don't mind! basically after some hard work building houses and such in towns for other people I'm looking at getting my own town now that I'm able to get my own portal and/or warp put in. Sadly i sold my mayor and president towns as i didn't think i'd want a town however now I've decided id like to own and run my own town. what are the best options for me? can i get another town of my own? or do i have to buy a town off somebody and get them to apply for portal and stuff? thanks for your help!
Hai there lowndsy, It's great to see you interested in owning a town. There are two relatively easy ways to get a new town to enjoy and work on 1. You can place an application titled [Additional Town #3] in the Presidents+ application section with the proper app filled out from the wiki. This gives you full conrol and ownership, and you can apply for whatever town features you choose. I believe this costs $220,000 ECD if I am not mistaken, and is the securest option for you. 2. You can purchase a town off of another user via forum contract, hoever, this is risky as they can reclaim the town back. They also have to apply for features for you, which in turn runs the risk of being denied due to lack of funds. Only after you file a town transfer application (found on the wiki) for $250,000 can you say the town is your own. Overall, I reccomend purchasing your 3rd town, as it is safer and cheaper at the current place your are at. I wish you the best of luck, and hope this helps! ~goblizz
Goblizz, Thankyou for this info! So step 1, i pay $220k and get my own town, or step 2, purchase a town off someone then pay $250k to get it to become my own town? Surely step one is best way economically then as why would anyone want to buy a town for say 50k then spend another 250k transfering it if you could just pay 220k anyway? Thanks again!
