It seems like tamed wolves can kill people outside the pvp arena. Although you can't hit the people, you can send tamed wolves after them. I saw xxisoulxx wolves kill Canada_blue.
You have to hit the wolves for them to attack you, as it's a non-pvp area, you hitting another person will NOT send your wolves at them... So it's your own fault for dying to wolves... Lulz
I have had this before with SynWannabe's wolves I was ust minding my own buisness and then they started attacking me xD I died And used /back grabbed my stuff and got the hell outta there
Wolves aren't programmed to just randomly attack stuff while they're tamed... Even wild wolves will only attack non-human things <_<
Well, it was on a list of bugs in an update, wolves came in to attack a player if that player was hit by the player with the wolves even with PvP turned off, I'm not sure if it's fixed yet, but back when wolves were first added, I tested it and it did work.
I've went around hitting people with a wolf or two following me, and they didn't go crazy and start killing everyone... This was just the other day... Then EvilSonic, or whoever, hit my wolf and it killed him <_<
Unless you need like a very specific item in your hand for your wolves to go batshit crazy... I wouldn't know if that was the case
Could be area, near or in PvP. Could be the amount of health a wolf has.. Maybe how many wolves you have, too. -shrugs-
