I have this idea, tell me what you think and if you would be interested in joining the competition. I was thinking about having a building competition in my town. It would consist of 12 plots around 50 by 50, which means there could be 12 players. Each plot/entry would cost around 20000(depending on plot size, some are a little off), which is at 8 bucks per block. The goal would be to build the best building which could be a mansion, hotel, house, or even a skyscraper built to the build limit. At the end of the two weeks, People would vote which one is the best and whoever wins gets their money back that they paid for the plot and an added 30k. Tell me if this idea has potential and some changes I could make to it.
Winnings are not enough... It costs 20k just to buy in to it then its gonna cost me alot more to actually buy the materials for it.
Also would it be worth it more, if you could sell your plots to people after or sell apartments in them?
Im not looking to change the plot size because I want to see big awesome structure not little small ones. lol Even though some small ones look cool, the big structures I have seen can blow your mind sometimes. At least for me.
There is one during the fall in October we had our spoooooky challenge the winner got a whopping 150k!!!! producerNL won it..... but just a few hours later he lost it in lotto >_>

As long as you get 12 buyers, the 20k price enough to dish out a 150,000 prize. But only if you don't give the plot money back to the players. That would leave 90k for you. They have a chance for an extremely high win, but if they lose, 20k lost, but a win, 150,000 dollar prize.
Well the main reason I want to do this is to have all these cool structures in my town so I wouldn't want to demolish them. I could make more money by just selling smaller plots or making structures myself and selling them, but I like to see everyone's creations. And If I did make all the buildings then it would most likely look like a similar style.
I guess haha but I could make much more with selling smaller individual plots because I wouldn't have to give out prize money. I really just want to see what kind of structures people can build. I used to look at the live map for that, but that isn't there anymore so I try and find new ways to see people's structures (this being one of them).
