Hi ECC, I'd like to announce my second weekly giveaway contest here on the forums! How it works is each week I'll be holding a new giveaway with 3 winners. Last week received so much feedback I decided to "up the ante" a bit. I'll be using a point system to "grade" each and every applicant. There's a maximum score of 30 Points. You'll be able to receive 15 Points for the "Why do you think you should be chosen as a winner?" question, 10 Points for the "What do you plan on using the money/resources for?" question, and 5 Points for the amount of effort put into the application (I generally want to avoid 2 word answers). Now most giveaways I have seen are usually won by staff members. I love the staff team here, and fully appreciate what they do for the server, but I don't want to always be giving prizes to staff, this giveaway is meant for the whole server. Therefore, I'll be giving staff members a bonus of 5 points. This way they receive credit for the contribution to the server without causing too much of an imbalance. Feedback is greatly appreciated! What do you plan on using the money/resources for?: Well I'm currently farming to pay off my melon sword, and if I could get any amount of money it would be huge! And plus, a lot of other people just waste it on lotto or something stupid, I won't. I'll use it for productive things. The problem right now though is I'm kind of in a hole financially. I took too many loans not realizing how limited my playing time was going to be, and I'm not able to make the money back in time. IGN: Pancakesplatter Rank(s): Mayor Why do you think you should be chosen as a winner?: I believe I should be chosen as the first place winner of this month's giveaway because when on this server when I could be farming or making money some other way I'd much rather help out a MC friend with building their own farm or building a 'mansion' for them as a surprise gift. If you were to take a look into my account you would be able to tell that I really don't have that much money in my their. Mainly because when I work for free and help others out. What do you plan on using the money/resources for?: I will be able to buy more expensive resources with $25-15k when building homes or even be able to buy a few horses xD. With the $5k and resources I will probably use to make armor and tools and also be able to build other thing and with the $5k i may just use it on buying materials and help expand my ittty bitty farm. IGN: 12345shane Rank(s): President, pilot, $$$ Why do you think you should be chosen as a winner?: Well, I have many goals on the server but as many people know on ecocitycraft goals are very hard to achieve. I am trying to get upto 500k (See my fundraiser) for reasons I won't say, but it will be awesome. What do you plan on using the money/resources for?: Getting 500k and doing something very special when it happens, and if I win I will be VERY close to 500k, and I will be grateful should you chose me though if you do not, my party will be thrown anyways though not as big. Other: Nothing really (If I won first prize you'd be one of my few special people for what I am doing and you might enjoy what it is... ;D ) If you are given to, you should give back even if it is something simple. (Not saying it is, this will take a bit of planning and preparation and a good bit of other things)
