Contest Details: As snazzy as it is, I want to stop using my current skin. I want my new skin to be Nicodemus from the animated movie The Secret of NIMH, which is not a skin that exists at this time. Unfortunately, my artistic skills are limited... so I would like one of you folks to create the skin for me. If you send me (via forum PM) a version of the skin that I am satisfied with, I will pay the winner 20,000 EcoDollars and use their work as my new skin. You may post a picture of your effort at the Nicodemus skin in this thread if you wish. Please do not post the actual skin file in this thread. If I don't like any of the skins I receive, then no one will be awarded the 20k (and I won't keep or use any of the skins). Available images/video: I like the name Nicodemus and was fascinated by the backstory of how the character came to be (take a look at the video below for a look at Nicodemus and his story: Here are a couple of still images of Nicodemus: Instructions for the skin: It is very important to me that the face/beard and ESPECIALLY the glowing yellow eyes are well implemented into the skin. I might suggest that you look into using the "raised" option that MC skins have for objects around the head like facial and head hair, but use your own best judgment. Please try to make the eyes look like they are glowing without it being ridiculous-looking. Please also attempt to do his robe in some way so that it has the trim and whatever other detail would be appropriate so that it isn't just a boring flat black. mostly black I suppose... but you use whatever adapts best to the minecraft skin format. If you plan to use some purple please be careful not to make it too bright. It ought to be a dark purple, just as the purple in the artwork above is fairly dark. EDIT: perhaps a thin line of blue trim, as in my avatar and in the signature pic below, might also be something you want to consider.
ok will do, ill have a kind of template done in a few mins and then you can get me to make changes. the template will not be the final product ill need to spend more time on it.
I'm not sure... I want to give it at least another day or two. So far I don't feel like we have a "winner" yet.
