1 Year!! :)

It is official, I have been on ECC for 1 year and 1 day! I will post below the story of my ECC times and some special mentions below! But first I want to thank the entire community for making ECC one of the best servers ever!

First of, My story:

I joined ECC back in June of 2013 when I was browsing through Minecraft server lists on Google. I knew I either wanted a Economy, Towny or Factions server, and as ECC ticked all but one of the boxes, I knew I had found a server I would enjoy. I was greeted by a large spawn area were I began to make my way into ECC for the first time. I immediately started looking for some work to do, in /ch tr of course!, but it fell upon deaf ears. I can still remember asking how to get money if nobody gave you a job. Voting, that's what you guys said, just vote! I can't remember the exact amount of money you gained from voting back then, but I think it was about 1.1k or something like that. I then began to search for a home, which I eventually found in a town which I can't remember the name of. I was a big, and I mean BIG, newb at the time and didn't know anything about the server, but the great moderators of ECC showed me the ropes. After settling in to my new home I found the lottery system! I had about $1,250 in my /bal and decided that I would buy only 1 ticket and if it didn't work I wouldn't play lotto again. So, I typed in the command and the message came up in chat that i had bought one and that the draw was in 20 seconds. After the last minute attempts by other users the lottery was drawn and it said: Congratulations to TaylorBros22 for winning 35,000 with one ticket! I was overjoyed! So the next thing I did was register on the forums and apply for Resident! **Fast forward about 3 months were I make bits of money here and there** I eventually found a hotel project zjkhan had started which I offered to help with for some pay, he accepted and we had become friends! I then gained co-mayor of 'Cod Mania' and farmed pumpkins for a living! I then went inactive for about 4-5 months whilst I wasn't getting anywhere and doing other stuff. When I came back on I had nothing but the money in my bank, so I, once again, returned to pumpkin farming buying perms to a few other farms to get more profit. After putting in chat 'more pumpkin farming!' Koubashii PM'ed me asking how much I was away from Mayor, I told her and she very kindly gave me the rest of my Mayor fund, and helped me set up my towns coordinates. I then applied for Sweden Mall staff, and got the position and then once it had closed I joined cybertron where I currently work now. That is my ECC story and I am now going to mention some people I have met in my ECC 1 year.
