At approximately 1:40am this morning, I came to check the forums and had a notification, and when I clicked on it, it read "You have been awarded a trophy: 1 year member." Well folks, looks like it's been a year for me here. Seeing as how I'm extremely tired from now being up for almost 36 hours, I'm going to bed and will finish this and tag people and all that jazz in the morning. Bai now <3 *EDIT* It's "tomorrow" now, so here we go. I would just like to thank everyone of whom has been a part of my ECC life. Were it not for you guys, I probably wouldn't still be here. I have achieved some pretty great milestones so far, and would hope to reach many more! On July 29, 2013, a lonely guy named Maco20047 join the server EcoCityCraft, and to his amazement, was actually quite lost. After walking around aimlessly for about an hour around spawn trying to figure things out, he talked with (a president at the time) on what to do to earn money. Luckily, this person of whom's name I don't remember (sorry) gave me a job removing cobblestone, so of course, with $0 in my bal, I took it. She let me use an Eff5 Silk1 Unb3 pick, and to my dismay, let me keep it when I was done, and even sent me home with a couple stacks of baked potatoes and $500. With this $500 I bought a plot from @Swiggle in the town of Preston (which I now own). I set a home and went to the mining world. I was there for probably 2 hours chopping down tress, mining ores, and collecting building supplies. When I got home I was able to set up a small house and was able to buy some enchants for the tools I made from mining (was lucky enough to find enough diamonds for an axe and shovel) and got Eff5 Unb3 on both of them (as e-books and exp was cheap when I joined). When I returned home from @erro_syn's e-book shop, I found that I had a new neighbor, who very quickly set up a cute little home across the street from me. I noticed she had a mailbox, so I dropped off some diamonds to welcome her to the town. Later that day, some 5 or 6 hours later, I caught on to the Lottery i chat and wanted to know what it was. A bunch of people told me, and at first I was nervous as I didn't want to lose my money ($1,000 is a lot when it's only your first day on the server). So, I went mining to make $1,000 just to buy a lottery ticket. It took me a little while to make the $1,000 because the mining world was already pretty much butchered, so I had a hard time finding any ores quickly. Eventually, I made enough to buy a ticket. The very first ticket I bought with about 5 or 6 minutes in the draw, so I went about my business and went to play some sg (was very easy to find then, right beside /spawn). Well in the middle of this game, I very surprisingly one ticketed $106,250 (I wish I had a screenshot) and was over joyed. I thought I was rich, but new to the server, I had no idea what to spend it on. About 30 minutes went by and I thought to myself, why not try the lottery again? So this time, I doubled my first initial ticket purchase, and bought 2 tickets. Again, I went to play sg and mind my business. This time, I two-ticketed $242,250. Now I REALLY thought I was rich, but still didn't know what to spend it on. Not long after that, @xpurexcorex messaged me asking if I was any good at interior design, and I responded "meh" and received a TP to help with the twin towers in his town America. After talking with pure for a bit, I trusted him enough to ask him what to spend my recent lottery winnings on. He told my to buy the Teleport feature, so I bought it from @Rheasmom. she was ectremly nice and allowed me to buy my first feature and become [$] without a hitch (yay, now I was a [$] Builder! xD). Now I only had $140,000, and he told me to purchase Resident, so I did, just a day or two later. Now I had Resident, and became a Co-Mayor of Preston with Swiggle and was able to sell plots for money (that was my favorite way to make money then). A day or two after I got Resident, I had a little more than $100,000 left, so I bought Mayor and started my town Colhen. This was a big achievement for me, and I'm glad I purchased it and didn't stay a Mayor forever. Pretty much everything after this is history and I don't think I will have enough room to keep telling my story, so I would move to a later time on ECC. On Saturday, April 26, I had this conversation with Ike about Minewars: [4/26/2014 11:21:48 PM | Removed 11:21:55 PM] Ike: This message has been removed. [4/26/2014 11:21:51 PM] Ike: :]* [4/26/2014 11:22:32 PM] Maco20047: So when can I do a guest locker [4/26/2014 11:22:45 PM] Ike: nono [4/26/2014 11:22:46 PM] Ike: you [4/26/2014 11:22:47 PM] Ike: are a mod now [4/26/2014 11:22:48 PM] Ike: (inlove) [4/26/2014 11:25:02 PM] Maco20047: YES [4/26/2014 11:25:03 PM] Maco20047: [4/26/2014 11:27:32 PM] Ike: :b I had been nagging him about doing a Minewars locker because I thought it would be cool, and that's when he told me I was a mod. I was ecstatic and was on the team through Wednesday, July 23, just under 3 months. I plan on reapplying towards the end of summer when I have more time to commit to ECC. That's pretty much it on that part, now to tag spam people! [h] First off, I would like to thank @Revanrose6 for being such an awesome friend while juggling staff duties and responsibilities. <3 @xpurexcorex You were my first friend and helped to keep me on ECC until this day. Being a part of America was fun, and I thank you for the opportunity. Also those endless Skype calls in the middle of the night with nickel PvP'ing like morons. <3 @Rheasmom Thank you for buying me my first feature (and a few more after that, I can't remember for sure) @BackToThePast @emongolab Thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of TeamRheas, it was fun while it lasted. I hope me leaving doesn't affect your thoughts about me. @SnDxCH4RG3R Thanks for just being SnD. I can't really say much, but you had my back a lot, and I really appreciate it. You know you're always welcome in any of my towns. : @cracker228989 We became friends when we applied for staff in December, although you beat me We've been friends since and I hope it stays that way. P.S. Thanks for the Christmas present. <3 @youiyoui1 We were friends for a while when ?I was in America then we stopped talking and are friends again. Even though you don't want me to be a part of the Jerner family or be in the Jerner family castle, I guess we can still be friends. @Chundi_Jr Thank you for being my friendly neighborhood Chundi. I remember when we met. It's a day that won't soon escape me, and I'm glad I didn't just ignore the lonely builder that was watching me build my spawn statue. <3 There are many, MANY more people I should tag, but frankly, there's just too many awesome people to thank, so @AllPeopleICantTag Thanks for being such an awesome community. <3
I've run out of champagne to pop, I'll have to make a run to the market before we can celebrate Oh and congrats
