1.6.1 help needed

    as 1.6.1 has come out i had to download the new launcher but i have been experiencing problems actually getting into my account but i know my password is correct as i have checked it on the old version i.e 1.5.2 launcher it keeps saying this[​IMG]

    i have restarted my laptop and client and really want get back on :(

    This happens to me a fair amount to me too, when I'm on my friend's computer. I just keep reclogging. There will probably be bug fixes soon anyway.

    Did you migrate your account to a mojang account? That could be the problem. Cause then you would have to use your email to log in.

    tried that they just said change my password which i have done and now i have changed my email but that still doesn't work this is so frustrating :mad:

    I would recommend at this point to just get rid of all your minecraft files and .jar
    After that try re-iinstalling minecraft from https://minecraft.net/
