I was wondering when the new minecraft update 1.4 comes out and when we should update mine craft. Because I don't want to update it and not play Eccoticyarft for like 2-3 weeks.
1.4 is scheduled to be released October 24th. EcoCityCraft will update within 1-2 weeks after October 24th so that developers have time to update their plugins to be compatable with 1.4. You can update whenever you want to, but I would back up my 1.3 .minecraft folder. Just copy everything onto your desktop. Then, you can update to 1.4 and play it on singleplayer. When you want to play on ECC again, just switch your .minecraft folders. Hope this helped.
ECC will update when everything is ready. When 1.4 is ready. When the plug-ins haven been updated by the developers (not us), installed, tested, and are ready. When the new 1.4 features to be included have been decided, added, tested, and are ready. When staff has had time to try to test and to try to break things (especially wewin), and we deem it ready. Finally, when andrew and wewin have triple checked everything and decided it is ready. How long with this take.. who knows, I'm not a fortune teller and don't ask me to "guess". RagMan
This. I've been saying 1-2 weeks because of the 1.3 update. That is about how long it took. I'm purely guessing base off of previous updates. As RagMan said, ECC updates once everything is finalized/tested.
