Hey there! I am Mafidog, retired Minecraft Forums user, but active MC player. I am a regular sixteen years old teenager, living in Athens, Greece. I study and speak Greek, English, and Chinese (real deal, I'm currently studying for the globally recognized HSK II exam. Ni hao, Zhongguo ren!).

My real life name is Steven Koufakis, yes I don't have any kinds of problem saying this out loud to you, as I believe that telling your real name can really help you break the barrier of faceless communication throughout the web. I enjoy jogging and running, swimming, playing computer games (oh God, the originality), and... oh well, thinking!

I won't call for a favorite music genre, as I am practically open to listening to anything. Though most of the time, I find myself listening to Drum n' Bass, Jazz, Soul, New Wave Rock, Rap, Classical, House and Dubstep. My favorite movie is definetely James Cameron's Avatar, my favorite books, Metro 2033, The Hunger Games trilogy, Eragon and the sequels, and of course, Harry Pottah brothah!

I am a fan of life. Sometimes I'm moody, sometimes I might feel melancholic, but I have never suffered from depression. I am not a pacifist. I believe everything has a reason for it to happen, even war, despite the all famous reasons that everyone believes in. Though I do not face war as a choice, but as a final resort, a quite bad final resort to be precise.

I used to do Forum Roleplaying. Not anymore. I generally like hanging around the Off Topic sections of the forums, as they are the best places to socialize and meet new people that share the same interests with you.

Currently I'm a first grade High School student, and I aim for studying and working either in the Entertainment Industry (you just can't resist Hollywood, and I can tell I am a good actor), or probably First Aid. I have a lot of time in front of me to decide, so I'm not rushing for it!

Now, about things I dislike. First of all, I don't hate people. While I might dislike or despise someone, I never hate them. That's mostly for personal reasons that I won't talk about here. Other than that, I dislike all modern day cartoon shows and anime (2006 and after, to be precise). Yes, I do. Also, I don't like all these teen shows the TV is playing 24/7. They are just overrated. Plus, I believe that Eurovision and the modern Olympic Games are just multimillion euro sinkhole carnivals, where the richest and most famous win. There is no doupt in that.

My gaming rig is an HP Pavilion dv6 "gaming" notebook, boasting a powerful Intel Core i7 (8 CPUs) @2.20Ghz, but a weak ATI Radeon HD6490M @1024Mb. I plan to get a system upgrade, which will happen, sooner or later, but until then, I just stick to old gen games and steer away from graphic overloads. Though I keep in touch with the gaming world throughout the popular gaming sites such as IGN.
