Welcome to our newest gamemode on AEM: Spaceblock ***Spaceblock is still in beta and will be receiving more updates and plug-ins as soon as they are ready so please be patient as we improve things.*** This is an informal tips and tricks thread I thought might be helpful to players. So, what is Spaceblock you ask? It's like a combination of Skyblock and Survival. You start out on your ship which has a Skyblock island you need to expand. Surrounding your island are plots that you can purchase to get more space to expand your island. Expanding is good! On the other hand, there is also a planet for resources. You can reach the planet by going to /warp hangar and going through one of the portals found there. One planet is PVP, the other is not, be careful to choose the right one. Both planets are reset to a different one every hour so feel free to gather whatever you can from each planet. Mine, expand, mine, collect resources, mine, and expand! xD Important commands to know: **Do /ship in game to see all available commands ***Commands in ( ) are shortcuts /ship home (/sh h) - Start your spaceblock /home - Once your ship is started, use this to get back to it from /spawn /ship guest <playername> (/sh g) - Allows players to visit your island /ship friend <playername> (/sh f) - Allows players to interact with your island (Warning: this will allow other players to break blocks on your island and take things so be careful!) /mothership - Brings you back "home" when visiting the planet /warp hangar - Takes you to the two planet portals /warp help - Takes you to the info area /warp shop - Takes you to the shop where you can sell things(still under construction so not all items are able to be sold at this time) Tips & Tricks: If you fall in lava or are surrounded by mobs, do /mothership to save yourself. Sell cobble and cactus at /spawn to make money to buy plots Players are able to interact with armor stands on islands, so be aware of this if you leave your ship "open" Do NOT kill other players with lava unless you are in the PVP world, this is considered bannable Griefing is allowed on planet as it is an open world. So try not to die PVP is enabled on the second planet, be careful which portal you choose. Those are the basics! Post here if you have any other suggestions , tips, or questions. Another tip, I'm not in game, but there is a command to set you home on your ship, I beileive it's /ship sethome or /sh seth Make a infinite water source, place your home in it, and if you fall off in your bio dome/cube, do /sh h and your will land in your water
There needs to be some protection plugins added to the server, we also need some staff placed in there. I really enjoy this mod, it just needs a few tweaks. When can we expect to see ranks added?
======================SpaceBlock /Shop & /Sell====================== Want to sell items but you aren't a donor and there is no chestshop yet? Do not worry! We now have /shop and /sell /Sell Hold the amount of items you want to sell and do /sell price (The prices are per piece) There is a 2.5% tax Example: I have 5 apples, i do /sell 10 It will then go into my /shop and the price would be $50 as there is 5 Apples. Picture Example: Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler /Shop OR /Shop name So if you want to check your own shop, do /Shop Once an item is sold, you need to go to your shop and click the paper like so : Spoiler To check another players shop, do /Shop name example: /Shop Cats /Gps find itemname /Gps Find ID Want an item but don't know who is selling them? This command will be handy. example: I want to find stones but I don't know who is selling them and the item names aren't working, So type: /Gps find 1 As the ID for stones is 1 Not sure what all the item ID are? I hope it stays because this is really helpful. If i remember, it's for all players but since we're still in beta, it may change once its fully released.
