    Surviving isn't that difficult. I don't know if you have ever played this gamenmode in single player.

    When it's daytime there is enough time for players to safely gather resources. Nighttime also isn't that bad. If it's really bad for players who are not the best in pve, they can always dig down and wait for the sun to rise again ^_^

    PvP could be debated all day long. If it's on then it does have a more UHC feel , having to survive, never being AFK etc. I don't know , it just feels too factions like. It would definitely work as long as there are rules to support them , such as no camping out someones house. To be fair if there is no griefing as long as you don't half-build anything then people won't be able to touch you.

    Saying that , I know that the towny plugin has some sort of war feature. Honestly i've never experimented or seen it used before but that could be an interesting way to do things...

    What about pvp in the pit and not in the build world :)

    That would work , as long as there aren't players who stalk the pit xD
    I think the occasional town war would be interesting too though...

    hmm maybe make a 1 minute non pvp delay for the player who enters the pit. Adding /wild back would solve this problem immediately. Players can safely join the pit and use /wild to get away from "spawn campers".

    I have never experiences town wars before. So I can't really give my opinion about that one.
    If buildings and chests can't be destroyed during town wars I would probably give it a go.

    It's like with wool and the defending town has to destroy the wool in like one minute in oder to keep the towns plot if they don't the plot gets in control of the attacking town but if they do then the attacking town has to pay the town $10 i think.
    Also keep in mind
    2 players from both towns need to be on in oder for attack
    1 plot is like 1 purchased bit of land so in order to control the whole town they will need to win all of the plots
    3 when a plot gets taken over chests can be raided and builds can be destroyed within it
    Commands are needed as well but i can't remember them :p

    To discourage players from just suiciding, u should make like a leaderboard for who has the least deaths and have monthly prizes or something so its not completely illegal to suicide for health, but it discourages players from doing it.

    This is a pretty cool set up, but you don't want to remove stuff like kits and /fly due to them being reasons (even if partial) people donate.
