I need help! Every time I try to log onto AEM using 1.9.2 or 1.9.1 my entire game crashes and says: # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x00007ffc341865c7, pid=11376, tid=11880 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (8.0_25-b18) (build 1.8.0_25-b18) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (25.25-b02 mixed mode windows-amd64 compressed oops) # Problematic frame: # C [ig9icd64.dll+0x165c7] # # Failed to write core dump. What can I do to fix this?

Cmd is command prompt. If ure on windows 7, click windows, type cmd on the search bar and it should come out. Launch it and do what sway said.
Or you can just download the other minecraft thing that dosen't require java https://launcher.mojang.com/download/MinecraftInstaller.msi
And on mc's website it says: Download and run Minecraft.msi. This will install Minecraft and create a shortcut in your start menu. If you'd like a version without an installer, you may use Minecraft.exe instead. You do not need Java installed to run either of these.
U can't play mc without java. That launcher itself downloads java for you when u launch it for the first time. It just makes it an all in one to save u the effort to install java urself.
I had the same problem. Make sure you have "Use VBO's" ON under the "Video Settings" section. If the problem persists your drivers may be out of date, I'm not totally sure though.
