    Hello all;

    Figured with the reset coming I might want to let everyone know that I am sticking around.

    On they server you will know me by RickC1971, however I prefer to go by Richard (too many people like to rhyme my name with other things - or at least they did before I left high school).

    I am among one of the oldest people on the server, I think Birdwatcher21 has me by a year or 2. I digress, I am 43 years old, and my son got me into Minecraft about 4 years ago, and I have loved playing it ever since.

    Currently I am a full time student and stay at home dad. I shuttle my son to Lacrosse, take care of the house and manage 14 credit hours in Multimedia Graphic Design (year 1). I am an artist by choice, and hope to pursue a second career in that. I retired from the Army after 24 years, and loved every minute of it.

    I currently live with my wife, and son. Our Daughter is in college and we have 3 cats and my retired military working dog.

    If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.

    I have walked for hours in a live minefield, days even, without ever setting one off. Luckily my dog found them for me and I could work around the mines. Rocky, my dog is now retired and lives with me.

    No, I really want to join the army. My parents are not keen though.

    My first question to you would be, "Why the Army?" There are 5 branch's of service, all pay the same with the same benefits, however each has it's own unique challenges and strengths.

    My second question would be, "What do you want to do as a career, once you get out of the Army (or any branch of service)?"

    I would also want to know what are your passions, what do you do as hobbies, or for fun, are any of them possible career choices or college majors?

    Let me know and I can help with a little more information.

    Well then hello - next time you see me on - say hello.

    I must admit, that once I get to building, I get very focused and barely notice the chat, so if I do not say hello, I am sorry.
