Salvaging in factions isnt working properly its 1 of the #1 issues right now because through come god apples and through god apples come the economy and pvp of the server. Now what is the problem.The problem is that salvaging only gives back 1 metal of the origin ore even if it is a bucket to a platebody or a spade to a helmet only 1 metal back witch is very bad for all of us savaging and trying to get some gold.
this isnt a bug. Salavage is actually a new (child) skill. Basically your salvage level is the average level of your fishing and repair. As your salvage goes up the more items you will get back. If this isn't enough help check out this link. http://mcmmo.wikia.com/wiki/Salvage
Shadow_Hopper salvaging is indeed broken if you have more levels in salvaging you just get higher chances to get the enchants of the items you have i have 400 fishing and 400 repair so i should get more than 1 ore if what u say is true.
It is all based on chance. If you look in my screenshot I have my max yeild of 50% of the item destroyed, the higher your level the more that goes up.
Advanced salvage doesn't guarntee more ingots, it just raises the cap. So instead of 1-2 ingots you could get 1-3
