Sometimes, I go to find chests with /wild but then I managed to stumble into somebodies base. I look around the immediate area and see no sponges. Since no sponges are present I can raid the base. Isn't that the whole point of sponges? Yet I get criticized for raiding that base... If sponges are not required, couldn't you have an infinitely large base? Please help!

If you raid a base. That is grief... which is a bannable offense you should read ./rules.

Bases that have no sponge/protection are due to a slight glitchy moment in the protection plugin, which erased all the sponge's protection.. some bases don't have protections now if their owner haven't been online.

How would you feel if you got griefed? This isn't factions. We play for fun and to build with peaceful competition. Not to try and demolish each other's builds that could take AGES to make.

I have seen the rules, however some of it is unexplained until now.
    1. Sponge glitch? First time I had heard about this... I honestly didn't know... Sorry .
    2. There were absolutely NONE to be found. If raiding is against the rules, and admins can restore bases, what's the point of buying a PS? To enforce people? I'm confused... Pls help

Oh, and somebody DID raid my base, so I know exactly how it feels. I didn't know the glitch was present though so I was really confused, I thought it was the fact that someone hacked. And also, I was told that it was only against the rules if u had a PS nearby. I'm really confused...

Read ./rules and ./warp rules first ALWAYS. Then ask staff. Players sometimes lie.

Wouldn't you all agree it would be better to be in or of peoples builds and enjoy how thay look than to destroy them so no one else can enjoy the builds and get ideas and creativity and inspiration from peoples builds Its sad if you lose that also very wise to memorise the rules and ask members of staff some players may send you down the wrong path but the members of staff are always there to help :)

Thanks for ASSUMING that the person was a normal player. He wasn't... according to the rules, 8
. No raiding, griefing or pvp is allowed outside the pvp arena. Okay, this is a perfect fine rule, and i SHOULD be punished or warned for this misunderstanding. However, if this is an active rule, what is the main point of PS. Aren't they useless otherwise? This is a PROBLEM! Ps are flawed in their usage because of the rule. I'm not saying the rule is a problem... Just the PS. I bet not one person can say what good use a PS is because of the rule. Remember, this is a PROBLEM and I am here to help.

Let me remind you I said this earlier.

Protection stones also allows you to enhance area's with certain flags, etc which you cannot on unclaimed bases.

well said hedge though people cannot always tell there in a protected sponge area when there is no protection because of the glitch or may think because the areas not protected thay do not want there land or build you should assume that you shouldn't destroy it because it is someone's build none the less meaning unless the builder of said creation is on and actually tells you that you may touch it you haven't got the right to destroy it or the go ahead to do anything with it we are members of skygrid we should be looking out for and helping one another rather than coursing trouble for one another I am shore you would all agree

Agreed. I think that more people should not cause trouble. I'll start with myself, to promote nongriefing in skygrid and to not grief anymore!

So after I read this the first time, I thought, " if I have spawners that are outside my area and they get destroyed, is that being grieved?" In this situation I had created walkways and in some cases mini-houses around the spawners. I came back and they were destroyed. My question is was this illegal, or since technically they were not inside my protected area was it legal?
This situation was from over a year ago and I still thought that a sponge was the only thing protecting you from being grieved. Although I would be interested in seeing if I could get some of the spawners back so I could protect them.

If you had built walkways to the spawners and houses around them then it is still a grief if someone destroys them

As staff, I would myself roll back. For say, you add someone to your area they grief. Staff is liable to come and roll back... but "technically" it's your fault because you added them. Just contact staff and ask if they will roll those area(s) back, I'm sure they would. If they don't just find me on sometime.

These spawners were not in my protected area, so I could not add people or protect them. They were out in wild and someone found the walkways and destroyed the spawners.
As this was from over a year ago would a roll back be able to save the spawners?

Hopefully, just try to contact staff, I'm sure we can find a way.
