Whoever is doing it I would suggest make the 1 paying IG money first, and then the IRL rank 2nd. Also take screenshots throughout the trade, take a pic of bal before and after, and during when you pay. Just get as many screenshots as you can, so if he/she does you can catch them.
Hey there Zombie. There are always risks to doing this, but there are ways that scams can be prevented. The best way is to get staff involved in a trade. What I have done before is have the player receiving the rank send me, or another staff member, the IG money, and then once the other player buys the rank and it is credited in game, I then send the money on to the buyer. Another way, if you don't want to involve staff, is to take screen shots of the transaction; state what is being traded for what, screen shot it, and then screen shot the money being sent. If the player does not follow through with buying the rank even after all of that, staff can return your money and ban the scammer. Nothing is 100% but there are definitely ways we can prevent players being scammed. Let me know if you'd like my help
