It's actually kinda weird, if you think about it.
    Do you approve of it?
What changes do yuo want to see or expect to see?
What changes do you NOT want to see? (Insert Clippy joke here)

    I'll start.

I'm actually really frightened. Will Minecraft's lifespan be shortened due to updates and add-ins by Microsoft, rather than Mojang? What will be taken away? What will be added? Will servers go extinct in a year?
Will we even HAVE Minecraft in a year?
What happens if they turn around and sell it for more money to someone like Activision or Rockstar?
    Holy cow, now THAT'S Scary.

Call of Minecraft Theft Halo IV

I have a friend working at Microsoft and heard they have big plans on Minecraft, also heard they want to focus on servers alot because that is a great source of income for them

That's good, but I wonder if they'll listen as much to the community as Mojang did :p

I think this is for the best to be honest as much as I do hate Microsoft they do actually listen to the community and why would they make server extinct when there is money to be made

Many servers will go down. No doubt Microsoft will make it like realms where you have to pay "rent" to have a server. I hate Microsoft except to work

Not really. Many servers will still be up, they will gain twice as much if people decided to stick with it

Im not worried at all. for a company that paid 2.5 billion dollars for a computer game, they obviously have big plans. Microsoft has more experience in programing considering they started it. They might change the game around but I cant wait to see what the implement!
