Member Name steven G Minecraft Username steven1674 Which server were you banned on? SkyGrid Why were you banned from this server? I was Banned from "SkyGrid" on 9-7-14 because of addmitting to X-Ray. I think i should unbanned from "SkyGrid" becasue i was trying to help hipp013 find his Sponges due to recent sponge issues. Hipp013 asked me if I had X-ray in private msg. I said "Why lol", he responded "I need someone to help me find sponges." I said "yes but I can't see sponges." He responded "What about CaveFinder?" and I replied "Yeah I have that" and right after I was banned by TheFightingTaco for admitting to having X-ray. He then told hipp013 that he would ban him if he asked for X-ray one more time. Yes i do have X-Ray and cave finder but they are not on. I am on 1.8 and I only use them on different servers. X-Ray and cave finder would not be useful on "SkyGrid". I am extreamly sorry for the misunderstanding. From here on out, this is hipp013's writing. I understand why steven was banned and why FightingTaco threatened to ban me. I was completely in the wrong. Fighting was only doing his job as an admin and I don't mean to disrespect him at all. Steven is a good friend of mine and a good user. I didn't mean at all for him to be banned, and I take all responsibility for what happened. You can ask me, hipp013, in game if what I said in steven's ban app is actually my writing and I will confirm its authenticity. Why do you think you deserve another chance on the server? I Think i deserve another on "Skygrid" becasue i was just trying to help. I am all about helping others and I am very commited to this server. I get along with everyone and I did not mean for it to go this way. Hipp needed my help and i wanted to help since he is my friend. I dont even use X-Ray on "SkyGrid". I havent used it for months. I am truely sorry.
Steven You are a valued player on skygrid however that being said you have played skygrid long enough to know that any xray or hacks are against the rules. I never had a problem with you at all but this is @TheFightingTaco ban and he was the one involved he must take care of it as Bunny, Hedge or me were not present.
I am willing to lift this appeal since this is your first offence. But since, you do have hacks in your possession, I want you to comment why using hacks is completely wrong. And promising that you while remove them and not use them ever again. Please respond within 24 hours. But do realize that if you are ever caught with hacks in your possession again there will be no second chances.
Hacks are wrong because it gives players unfair advantages over rule-following players by removing the effort to get resources the right way. Things like Xray allow a player to dig for resources instantly which usually requires luck, time, and strategy, while the hacker digs straight down to get the mineral. It offers an unfair advantage to players who attempt to surpass the fairness of the game itself. I totaly understand that hacks are NOT ok. I am Truely sorry @TheFightingTaco I really am. ~Steven G.
