That would be fun. I know there are protection stone plugins where you can by a certain stone which has a different radius. They use current blocks but they're like chimera wings, where normal feathers don't work. I think that they're sizes are customizable. The server I used em on had like 10x10, 20x20, 40x40, and 100x100. They configured it so it went all the way up and down so people didn't build on top of eachother. It was actually a good setup. I'll see if I can find the plugin and update this post if people think it's a good idea.
I am guessing this is for Survival? I think.. If this is directed towards all servers then never gonna happen. Factions is a griefing/raiding type gamemode so if you were to try to add that to factions then factions would be boring =p
We had a plugin like this before the reset (November 2013). Unfortunately these plugins are very taxing on large servers and tie up a ton of space. On top of that it creates a lot of clean up for staff when players go inactive or quit as the claimed space needs to be cleared out. It's something I think that has been considered but I think the best solution that was found was having dedicated staff on Survival (which I'm assuming you are talking about) to address grief when needed.
I think the server is okay with out the plugin. The staff handles it very well and they can roll it back for you if you ask.
Yup, I like it as things are. The staffs are very hardworking which shows their dedication. Also it does seem like fun to rollback, i mean imagine having nothing to do but answer questions xD?
Yeah. Grief, though understandably annoying, is easily fixed and the plugin isn't too necessary. I think staff handles it well enough that the server doesn't really have a terrible problem with it.
