Hey guys! Shnknub just randomly said on survival that Elite+ should have /fix. And I thought no way! But, here is my idea! Extreme should get /fix, but have a long cool down. This way, you can't just sit and grind and keep fixing your sword, you need to wait a certain amount of time. Say 5+ days. Or, Lower ranks, say Premium or Ultimate could get it with a longer cooldown! This would be a great incentive to buy Extreme and make money for the server! Staff can work out the rest of the balances, and whatever, but this is just my voice getting out there! Please reply with feedback and suggestions!
That would be a kool addition. Prob make it Extreme tho cos so many people complaining how extreme not worth it or how Premium to OP for its price. /fix would be kinda OP tho........
@MikeunbeatableMT Has a point there, /fix is a bit OP. Give an example here, say you can't repair your weapon/armor with another copy of that particular item. Practically saying "Oh hey! I don't need to use another copy to repair it or when it's too expensive." Plus, it gives away the point of repairing with an iron block. Makes survival a lot easier if /fix was included, so I wouldn't think it would be a good idea.
Yes, but if fix is implemented, it will have a shorter cool down. Just once it a while, you could even make it once a month or whatever. It is just for you one special tool that you want to repair but can't.
If you do it once a month, someone will most likely come on the forums and complain. "I donated for extreme and the cool down is not worth it! Fix it!! You're cheating money, refund now!" Okay maybe I was exaggerating but you know how it is. We don't really want to take away the survival aspects and spoon feed, y'know? I guess we're still pondering on what should and shouldn't be added yet. There's a lot on our plate that we have yet to sort out. So be it a bad, horrible or dumb suggestion, keep them coming! We'll appreciate it anyway
Well it's not entirely sure, I mean we could compromise if they do decide to add it in. It's not a 100% no.. maybe 90% or so. :rolleyes: Miracles can happen! But really, keep the suggestions coming.
that would be cool since it doesnt make u OP or anything, its just a time saver when ur building. but it may be kinda hard to implement idk
But i mean Extreme already has /heal and /feed and /speed and /fly....... /heal and /feed remove the point of survival and /speed and /fly removes the acrobatics mcmmo and pretty much makes u OP and unkillable... Also u need repair for salvage, so its still pretty useful even with /fix
I think if there ever were to be a way to fix without anvil or mcmmo repair it should be like a shop sign, that everyone can access. Say for like $500 you repair your item in your hand. That way the player pays a reasonable amount and it would encourage people to just re-enchant another tool. Speaking of which, even with efficiency 5/prot 4, unbreaking 3 and X enchant it's really not too hard to get good tools. Literally a good 10-15 minutes grinding enchanting books can easily replace a whole set of tools.
Well using that logic u could say it takes about 10 seconds to get food from cows at spawn and then 3 seconds to eat it yet extreme still has /feed....
To be fair survival is already easy. If people want the luxury of /heal and /eat they pay quite a bit, and honestly we all play survival differently. You can't deny commands like /fly make our lives so much easier , so we buy them. I guess it's quite literally 'spoon feeding' the extremes in zRinnes words as they want survival to be as easy as it can.Now , this isn't a bad thing, if they want to play easily and save time here and there thats fair enough. To be honest it's only saving 2 inventory slots, hardly that due to /pv and /echest.
When you can fly, it takes soooo looooong to break your stuff. With ability to get /kit every 3 days there is no point at all to impliment /fix.
