Good to hear Alex! I'm glad more is on the way. We are glad your back and excited for new updates. Also, I'm happy I can help out in skygrid as one of the newest mods!
Thanks for the post. It was something everyone was waiting for . Don’t be so cocky with “being an adult”. Many players on this server are older than you. I hope we – the players – will be able to bring AEM to the top.
Well, maybe if I began a YouTube channel for Skygrid, and possibly streamed on twitch, we would at least get a few more players on Skygrid. I mean, it's worth a shot, right? Kuz why not?
I'm not being cocky, however, i repeatedly texted staff members letting them know the situation on a weekly basis and to let players know the situation, why things weren't getting updated, and why i was not around. I would've thought most people would understand that situation.
Don't forget about kitpvp we should also make it 1.7 too. The reason it should be 1.7 is because 1.7 is better for pvping. New IGN: Itz_Mist
The "down" period we had in AEM where staff and players left showed that when things get rough, a little temptation from others and a little pushing, both players and staff started to leave. They may have their reasons which will be kept in confidence. I'm not saying they're wrong, they couldn't handle how AEM was "dying" or what it has "become". But think about it, everyone has a "dark" period in their lives, in their server and games, where ever. And you'll begin to question, is it worth staying? Should I stay or should I leave? We made it through that moment together because we stuck together. And now Alex is back, things are being worked on, we're finally moving forward again. I want to thank you guys who have been here with us, through our bad times and still supported AEM, that is what we call, a family.
I will be honest when I say this, I left AEM Survival whenever they announced a reset months ago, but never did anything. I would still get on every once and a while, but I would not really play. I stayed on forums (Cept for that one time I got super grounded for failing a class, my parent was pisssd) and stayed in touch there. I feel that a lot of players did the same thing, and I feel that my leaving actually did a lot of good in my life. I met lots of amazing people on the forums, and I was able to learn about and play other new games (Like CS:GO [Add me on steam: Britland, the one with the British flag.] and GTA V.) If I had not left the server, I feel like I would not be as happy as I am today, and I feel like I am still in touch with a lot of people that play on the servers. This is more or less just a post for the people that think leaving was a bad thing.
My definition of leaving is never coming back or have no intention of doing so. It's fine to take a breather, i do as well. You know, watching anime, go outside, playing other kind of games but always coming back.
I think it is made up of too much of this "real life" I hear of. Sounds poisonous, and like I could get skin cancer from this giant flaming ball in the sky. I will stick to inside, where the wild butt stabbers cannot got moi.
XD I took a 1 year break, because I was busy. AEM was starting to go rough when I came back. No matter how "bad" its gotten ive been here the whole way.
School.... and some other personal stuff I had to take care of . There was no time for ANYTHING, although I still question today how I managed, cant go 1 day w/o AEM now
I think getting players there is the hard part of it all.. Making them stay is pretty easy because most of the aem community is like one big family where we all talk to everyone.
I agree with you thunder i quit AEM for about 2-4 months and i come back and start playing again and everyone is gone went from 400-500 people to like 40-100 people and its disappointing because i remember having like 100 people on skyblock and the chat going like crazy and now there is no one and the chat is like dead. We need to get it back to the way it used to be and promote it more some how.
