    Welcome to ocean edit!

When mayors buy ocean towns, they normally just slap a 200x200 layer of dirt on it and... Done!

Here at ocean edit, we strive to give you all the benifits of a land based town... And more! We so this by first removing all the water from your town. Then we get our excavation/miner team and completely flatten it out.

    What are these benifiets?

    1. A flattened town
    2. A cool water wall on the sides of your town
    3. Your town will start on a lower level, giving you more air above your town ( great for skyscrapers)
    4. Unlike normal ocean cities, no water underneath your plots!
    5. A clay/sand/dirt floor XD (we will replace the floor with any cheap block on request for a $20,000 negotiable fee
    6. Ecc is over 75% water. Making your town on an ocean will let your town be farther away from other towns.

Attention! Due to our team possibly joining forces with team "world edit" we might soon not be hiring this position!

What is your desired job ( water remover or worker or both)

Do you have the water donation feature:

Payments are based on work accompilished and are at the sole discretion of me. My oath to you: I will not purposely pay anyone (including myself) more than anyone else except based off work accomplished. Do you understand all of this?:

    Current project:

A 200x200 ocean town bought from jacob02... For 45k. We hope to make a good profit from this and the profit will be split between workers.

    Expected sell price: 145k-175k

    FAQ (READ!)

How is my money paid to me?

Your money that you earn is given in the form of %. when we sell a town we have been working on or finish a job, money will be paid out based on total profit and your % of it earned.

    How do I earn this % ?

% of profit are earned by clearing out a 5x200 area of water or by flattening a 5x200 area of ocean floor. These 5x200 areas are known as jobs. If a worker cannot finish his job he will be paid based on what he or she accomplished.

Clearing a 5x200 area of water earns 1.5% of total profit
Flattening a 5x200 area earns .5% of total profit

I myself do not take a % and instead keep the remainder of profit (which works out to the water clearing work i do + 20% for management purposes

Why do water removers make more than land flatteners?
The ocean is already almost flat
    sponges require water donation feature
Sponges are very easy to screw up with
Clearing land gives you free dirt rock clay sand and mcmmo xp

Wow this seems like a great service but seems highly over priced. What justifies the high cost? Do you have a high operational cost? How quickly is the service carried out?

The cost is low but time taken is extremely high

It takes about 15 hours to completely sponge out an ocean... And then of course you have to get the world edit team in...

It takes forever to remove 200 x 200 x 16ish ocean. That's. 640,000 blocks of water. It would take over 5,000 sponges placed and that is only if you get the max of 125 blocks per sponge. The other alternative is to fill it all up with gravel and then dig all the gravel.

I'd be tempted to buy this service.

I find it interesting how you did the math on this however this is actually not excactly how it works

We make these things called "sponge pillars" that take out a 5x5x height of the ocean amout of water per pillar

They take roughly 30 seconds to make and tear down and we need 1,600 to completely sponge out an ocean.

I have fly, so I've been experimenting with doing horizontal pillars. I place four dirt between each sponge and take off the top 5x5x5 layer of ocean. I'm not sure what would be faster.
