Keeping Your Things Safe From File Cleanups

It takes a lot of hardware resources to make EcoCityCraft work. ECC is visited by thousands of players, active or otherwise, every week. Each player has a data file associated with them. Among many things, the data file contains your inventory, your enderchest contents, and your experience. ECC will not keep the data files from players that are not active on the server. This is the EcoCityCraft File CleanUp Policy. The following are some tips on what you can do to help keep your things safe from file cleanups for different offline periods.

  • LWC:
    • Should you be away on holiday ensure you have at least simply left-clicked any LWC lock that you own within six months prior to the December 1st cleanup that happens yearly so it does not get wiped.
    • It's best not to store your items "all over the place" and forget about that. Be responsible, make a central storage room for yourself and attend to it at least once 6 months prior to December 1st should you know you will be away on a long holiday leave.
