Residents must read the following rules, and make a post in this thread stating that they agree to abide by them at all times. You have 3 days from becoming a town member to make your post, if you do not post we'll assume you do not agree and you will be evicted. Rules All server rules are in effect in Xerain. This includes basic rules about language, trolling and general standards of behavior. All residents must have an ecocitycraft.com forum account. No harassing the the mayor or co-mayor. We are trying to play the game and enjoy it as well, we will respond when we can, but endless requests may result in eviction. No griefing. This includes altering or destroying public buildings and roads, as well as all the other destructive behaviors already prohibited by the server. Placing LWCs or breaking or placing ANY blocks without permission outside your plot is griefing. No stealing from other town residents, if you find an unlocked chest with items in it and it isn't your's, leave it alone. This rule will be enforced strictly! Do not build anywhere outside the your plot outline. This is greifing and will be dealt with immediatly. The public farm is a shared resource, and you must replant it you harvest anything, there are no excuses. If you don't replant it will be considered greifing. If you are going to be inactive for more than 14 days (2 weeks), you are required to make a post in the town thread stating when you will return. If you do not make the post, your plot will be cleared and sold. Maximum building height is 50 and you may go down by 15 blocks. No mining under the town, a lot of our facilities are located underground, to maintain the beauty of the surface. No ugly builds. Do not build your house entirely out of dirt, cobblestone or other muck, and no giant windowless boxes. Also wool is not allowed as a structural building material (walls, roofs, etc..). Secure your belongings inside your home. Learn to use LWC commands. We are not responsible for things you lose, however you should report theft. No shared residents! One plot per person! Residents are not allowed to re-sell plots. A note to griefers: We don't want you here, the Mayor and most players are active, and you will get caught. The end result will be a formal grief report and a potential server ban. Griefer Eviction Proceedings Once a grief report is filed and a finding is made by a MOD, all Griefers will be evicted immediately, no waiting period. If you have valuables in the town then they will be claimed as compensation for the grief. Eviction Proceedings If you are evicted, you will be given written notice by in game mail as well as here in the forums. you will have 3 days from the date of the eviction notice to gather your belongings and unlock any protections you have created, after that a request will be made to the Moderators to have your protections removed and any property left in Xerain will become property of the town. No refunds will be given to evicted residents.
I have been lax on this, but we have had several Greifing incidents, therefore everyone needs to read and agree to the rules. If you do not make a post here by Friday the 16th of January. I will assume that you do not agree and you will automatically be evicted. Edit: Date Change
