Just curious on when skyblock ill get added back so I can get my rank back and to play on server only gamemode I really played on AEM along with a quite a few older members as well was just curious because that is what would get me back
Skyblock being promised to fizz and I in 'two weeks' (by jamie not andrew lul) two or three years ago is the only thing that honestly keeps me checking ecc forums. One day skyblock will be here, and then I will play again.
Guess it kinda sucks that an AEM mode isn't out yet but beggars can't be choosers. We'll keep on waiting.
Actually, skyblock is coming out February 30th. Confirmed by every single person in ECC, at 12:60 RAT.
wait if AEM had it, cant they just adapt that stuff into having some sort of economy? then again, i know next to nothing about this stuff.
Besides the whole updating it for our current update, creating a whole new anticheat, incorporate economy, bug test, oh and real life crap. Sounds pretty easy to me! *sarcasm*
So AEM's Skyblock was pretty much in shambles around the time we were sent to ECC. In my opinion (at least for the standards of ECC) it was in no way shape or form in a shape ready to be imported directly. Now, there were a few things that I felt differently about (like how long it's taken to get the server out) but of course I have little knowledge of how the internals work around ECC, so I won't question it. To get to the main point, AEM's Skyblock is a whole new dynamic in that the economy has nowhere near as much thought and consideration as the one here on ECC. Not only do Andrew and Jamie have to deal with the fact that AEM's Skyblock setup was falling apart at the time of it's acquiring, but also the fact that money comes around a lot easier in Skyblock (you will be allowed to make automatic farms!). As a result, in order to get a perfect conversion to ECD from Skyblock money (assuming there will ever be one, as both Andrew and Jamie have said at certain points that there will or there will not be a conversion), we'll need to take all of the different ways to automatically farm items and make that sweet $$$ into consideration. Now, if you were wondering just how exactly different the Skyblock economy was, I do think I have a spreadsheet of all of the admin shop prices (where all your farmed goodies were sold). I don't know where it is exactly at this point, so if you are truly interested PM me and I'll see if I can find it.
