Since the old thread is about to be locked for necro'ing and not really sure why the term "texture pack" is used anymore, I've decided to create a new thread! I use default resource pack but looking for new ones to explore
I use Coterie Craft as my main pack which is basically just an hd version of default but with a few different textures that look better than default. When I'm feeling fancy, I use DokuCraft High because it has a very elegant, mostly medieval theme to it.
I like default but when it gets around the time of the holidays I might switch to some sort of holiday default remix.
I use KoP's Photo Realism 512x512. Very nice Resource Pack. I've been with this pack for a couple years now. I never get tired of it. Though I used to use only 128x128, but that was before I built my tower. Now I use their eXtreme edition. Which is the 512x512.
I have now taken a liking to Faithful 32x32, as well as Sphax 128x128 since my computer can't handle 512x512. Thank you all for the ideas, but keep posting as there may be a better resource pack I will like!
Pack I currently use: Since LIFE is only 1.7 and LB only 1.6 but my favoured one, I now use a mix of LB photorealism 256x256 and MojoKraft 256x256.
I'm more into Sphax's font and faithful's textures, but combining them to get what I want never works for me.
I'm same as you @MCHelix3000 I like the default pack, because if you can make a build look nice in default it looks exquisite anywhere else [emoji14]
