I have been trying to get Mayor for a while now, but I always end up spending my money on plots, lottery, building materials and more. I really want to make a town and it's gonna cost $255,000 for mayor, the town and the portal. Since the prices of fish have been lowered to $10 instead of $50 I have no idea how I'm gonna get money faster besides fishing, farming, and lottery. I just recently got Co-Mayor of an unfinished town called "Reaperville". I might make some money now! But I still need more ways
Besides farming (which is the best way, wheat farming, my town is on the ocean, 30x30 plot = a good harvest) I'd go with running a store/getting yourself co-mayor. I've made almost 20k on co-mayor (my mayor hired me, i didn't pay). Also made a good 5k on store so far. The truth is i need someone to fill in for me while I'm on vacation in a few weeks. Filling in as being co-mayor in my place. I have you and another person in consideration. I find a lottery every once in a while isn't a bad idea. I won 49k yesterday in lotto with 1 ticket. Just never snipe. Course lottery is bad in the end if u do it all the time. Also I'm not sure u got it clear, the town comes with the mayor, aka, 85k = mayor and town. Mining brings in a good fund, selling stuff u get to the server/spawn shops. Finding jobs that people give is also a nice bonus every once in a while. If you find yourself a good writer books can go for a huge price in auction (i buy them myself, 500-2000 depending on how good you are/how long it is, ect)
Con people, its the best way. This is an economy server after all find something and bribe them or con players. You would be surprised how uneducated some people are of the prices. It's a dog eat dog world in this server, are you gonna be a poodle or the Great Dane?
Well of course, legal *ahem* Yes exactly. No selling Dirt for 1000 now people, thats frowned upon but 750 now thats a bargin. Sorry sorry, bad habit.
Your prices are ridiculous. Everyone knows that dirt stacks go for 250 usually and dirt blocks at 10 each. Pure dirt is a rare substance.
