What is your happiest ECC memory? Mine is when I became the 21st ecoleader ever (for those of you who werent around back in the good old days, ecoleader used to be a big achievement). This was the first time I had ever attained a million dollars and I was so nervous when I filed my application. I was so nervous I pmed zardgyer (an old game admin for you new players) to handle it right away. Now, for those of you who are big lottery ballers as I once was, do you know that feeling right before you buy thousands of tickets? Or right before a multimillion dollar lottery draws? Well thats how I felt when zard told me he was going to handle my application right then. My hands started sweating and my heart started racing as I sat there waiting to be penniless. Five minutes later I got a big red (yes it used to be red, not purple for you new people) message saying “1,000,000 has been deducted from your balance.” At the time there was around 150 people online and zardgyer shouted 4 times saying “congradulations to kconahan, the servers 21st ecoleader!!!” And then everyone freaked the f**k out. Best moment ever.
My favorite moment was by far my Easter Chest Hunt back in 2014. It was a huge event for anyone who wanted to participate. I raised a couple hundred thousand dollars to givn away in the form of both cash and items (tons of nether stars, emeralds, diamonds, some tools, etc). It took me months of planning, and lots of help from friends hiding over 300 chests in my 4 towns, each chest containing a custom written book describing the prize (300 custom books, RIP!) they everyone turned in to redeem their prizes. Over 10 double chests of items! It was really awesome to see so many people come together and help, and to have so many people participate!
All the moments I spent with my friends on teamspeak - whether it be singing with Datprofit and Annyonion or if it was screwing around with Eekelmo, Daretodream and Grimm or playing Cards Against Humanity with 10 other ecc-ers at 2 in the morning.
Two memories about tied: One, that first massive party we had in 'underspawn' when the old PvP arena got removed and some builder glitched through the floor. we had everyone disguising as snowmen and drawing snow all over the ground, doing all kinds of craziness. It was a grand old time. Two, that one time andrew pulled all of staff into vent (I was new staff at the time) for a 'very serious discussion' then proceeded to order pizza over the phone while we were listening, wait for his pizza to arrive, then dismissed us xD
It was early on in my ECC days. We all were given a TP request from Andrew. He had a bunch of beds so we all lied down on them an Ozzy took a photo. Then Andrew (or someone but I assume Andrew) made a very...interesting statue labeled “Arshi’s ____” (something provocative I forget). That’s when I knew you all were amazing and funny people. Edit: also the first time I got on discord. It was so funny to see reactions to my voice.
oh my favourite ecc memory was like... probably the old party chat we used to have #dismaldoggos in the emotionaltrainwreck. those times were good. oooh when i was the sg team that won the olympics (team angels).
Favourite EcoCityCraft memory? Harlem Shake 2013 was pretty awesome. Other memories, being a SuperMod and doing lwc's for 5 hours straight with no break. Made me hate doing them forever.
Mine was using RevanRose's melon sword to break a single melon back when i was a resident, could of even been a builder. it was a long time ago haha
I to this day do not know what happened to revanrose lol. Like she was server admin and then perma banned and i never understood why
oh it was the best thing, it fell apart when ecc went downhill but in its prime it was gold! (i used to get free music from them)
Mine was back when we used teamspeak. That's where I met just about every single person I met on this server. People would just sit in channels and wait for people to join you and you would just talk. Complete strangers that I never saw on the server and we would just talk about our problems irl and vent. I miss ts, somehow discord just isn't the same
